Spring cleaning is in full swing around here - and boy oh boy did we need it. Our windows in particular are yucky! The rear of our house is south facing and the window in our kitchen/eating area faces the rear - the shutters here are always open and now with all that bright sunshine they just looked gross! I won't even tell you about the stuff I found behind the washer and dryer - uggghhh. Paul keeps saying our maid stinks and that we should fire her - I keep gently reminding him that our marriage contract says he can't do that.
Paul's getting around much better with his walking boot, but still suffering from range of motion issues as the tendons and ligaments are really tight and painful. He's such a trooper. And tonight, for the first time in 6 looooooong weeks, he washed the dishes!!!!! I was so shocked to see him standing in the kitchen - pleasantly so of course.
Bad, bad school day today. We got a late start and I could not get Lewis to focus, William on the other hand loves doing his phonics workbook and was happy to participate- it makes him feel like a big boy. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
